Hi All,
Below please find details of this years National Horse Trials Championships. We have two members who have qualified for the Championships classes and they are:
Gillian Hennessy & Stanley - Intermediate
Jo Forde & Western Rebel - Ad Intermediate. Good luck girls.
If you wish to put your name forward for a Team please let me know before Friday 11th August as entries will be going by post on the 14th August. The club team championship is open to teams of 4 riders competing in either the championship or non‐championship classes excluding the young horse class. Teams must consist of 3 or 4 riders representing no less than two grades. We always aim to put our best Team forward.

Classes as follows:
1. Advanced Open Championship
2. Open Championship
3. Advanced Intermediate Championship
4. Advanced Intermediate
5. Intermediate Championship
6. Intermediate
7. Young Horse
8. Advanced Primary Championship
9. Advanced Primary
10. Team Championship
Qualification: Entrants to classes 3, 5 & 8 must have qualified at one of the designated qualifiers held throughout the year. Please note that only rider and horse combinations have qualified. A list of qualified rider and horses is available here.
Entrants to classes 1, 4, 6, 7, 9 & 10 must have completed a minimum of one cross-country type event (i.e. one-day event, hunter trials or cross jump) between the 1st May and the close of entries.
Entrants to class 7 are open to riders of advanced intermediate, open and advanced open riders. Only 4 and 5 year old horses are eligible for this competition.
Entrants to class 10 is restricted to teams of 3 or 4 riders from a registered club representing no less than two grades. Only riders competing in classes 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8 & 9 are eligible to represent a club in this championship. Clubs may only nominate a maximum of 2 teams before the close of entries. A rider may only represent their club on one team in this championship. Mixed club teams are not permitted. There is no entry fee for this class.
